Start with the role
Read the vacancy and list the requirements you can support with evidence. Choose the experience, projects and skills that match. A strong resume helps the reader find those connections quickly.
Write useful experience bullets
Begin with a clear action. Explain what you worked on, your contribution and a result. Use numbers only when they are accurate. A concrete description is more useful than an unsupported adjective.
Organize the page
Use familiar section headings, consistent dates and readable spacing. Place your most relevant sections first. A recent graduate may lead with education and projects; an experienced professional may lead with work history.
Review the export
Check your email, phone, role titles and dates. Remove bracketed prompts. In the print dialog, review every page and disable browser headers and footers if they add unwanted text.
